At 43° Sports, we believe hockey is more than a sport. It's a community, a family, and most importantly, a platform for impact. That's why we are incredibly honored to officially sponsor Dawg Bowl XV, a powerful and inspiring charity hockey tournament taking place this weekend, June 18-22, at the Edge Ice Arena in Littleton, Colorado.

What is Dawg Bowl?

The Dawg Bowl is the premier ice hockey tournament to raise awareness about traumatic brain injuries hosted by Dawg Nation Hockey Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 2011 by former hockey player and coach Marty Richardson. Following several people on his men's league hockey team tragically getting diagnosed with cancer within a very short amount of time, Marty's insticts as a CPA kicked in and he started raising money to help support his friends.  After seeing the immense good his charity caused, he set out to create something greater than the game itself — an organization dedicated to helping hockey players and their families in times of crisis.

Since its founding, Dawg Nation has distributed more than $6 million in direct aid to individuals and families facing medical, emotional, and financial challenges. Through events like Dawg Bowl, Comedy Night, and Hockey Heals, Dawg Nation has become one of the most respected and impactful nonprofits in the hockey world.

Our Growing Partnership

We first connected with Dawg Nation at their Comedy Night event earlier this year and were instantly moved by the community, the mission, and the kindness that radiated from everyone involved. Since then, 43° Sports has become a proud supporter of Dawg Nation, assisting with their Hockey Heals skates and providing custom 43° Hockey Beanies to the "Hero of the Game" at each session.

These skates have been nothing short of life-changing — filled with resilience, support, and gratitude. To skate alongside the Hockey Heals community and witness firsthand the power of healing through hockey has been a deeply humbling experience.
